My First Playhouse Makeover

A bit of spray paint and the help of others that have done this before helped me finish this playhouse refresh.

Little Tykes makes a fine and inexpensive playhouse but often not the best colors. So when I wanted to change the look of the girls playhouse I looked to other bloggers that had done it before. As many warned, using the right spray paint (rustoleum for plastic) was the key and using a primer and the right spray paint for the door was also important. I choose a white exterior, black roof, and a pink door with a black door knob. It's light, its clean, and it goes well with the small white picket fence I placed next to it to create a bigger play area.

I also added a nice floral wreath and of course a table and chairs to round out the space.
